We are passionate about printing
We have printed over one hundred thousand jobs for many happy businesses and charities across Poole, Bournemouth, Weymouth, Dorset and the south of England.
Our satisfied customers include:
Our aim is to become a valuable member of your team.
Our customers know us to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Creating artwork, organising and producing print and getting it delivered on time takes good communication.
Print production progresses quickly when people communicate well and in a friendly and helpful manner.
Our customers depend on our ability to deliver their print on time, to the correct person and in pristine quality. We have refined our processes and procedures over the last 46 years to do exactly that.
Litho, Digital or Letterpress, we have three generations of printing on site. No professional printing company should be without of them. Each has its place.
We understand that some projects have tight deadlines. Our team can be contacted at any time to answer questions and provide quotations. Less than 24 hour turnaround is possible, should the need arise – just be sure to mention your delivery needs when contacting us.
Being flexible means accepting artwork in any file format, we can print from practically any file type or convert it to a more standard PDF file if required.
Popular questions about printing and preparing artwork for print.
Question: What is a good quality paper to use for leaflets and flyers?
Answer: We recommend 150gsm silk paper. This paper is coated, so it’s durable and bright, but not so shiny as to make the leaflet hard to read because of light source reflections.
Question: Could I save money by printing on a thinner, lighter paper?
Answer: The short answer is yes, but people make unconscious judgements about your organisation based on how your printing feels. Thicker and heavier paper makes people think quality and durability.
Question: What’s the difference Pantone colour and full colour?
Answer: Pantone colour is restricted to range of predefined colours. Full colour (also known of process colour) is comprised of extremely tiny dots of cyan, yellow, magenta and black, which allow for the reproduction of many millions of colours.
FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PROFESSIONAL PRINTING SERVICES
There is simply no substitute for beautifully designed and lovingly produced full colour print. Using the very best materials and equipment our experienced press minders produce quality print with consistency and at a sensible price.
In-house we have facilities to produce both short run digital colour print and conventional litho printing.
Traditional litho printing is used for longer print runs and especially where colour matching is crucial for Pantone colours, etc. We use Heidelberg presses, the best in the business, with in-line numbering and perforating.
Our Xerox digital printing press is ideal for smaller print runs. It prints on paper and card up to 400gsm, gloss, silk or uncoated.
We also produce personalised or direct mail variable data printing.
Here is just a sample of the type of jobs that we regularly print for our customer across Dorset. If you need something that is not on the list please contact us, we can help.
